It was built on charitable donations from believers of the Orthodox community and was opened in 2003. At the same time, at the time of opening, only external structural elements were made. Despite its modest size and laconic decor, the church makes a pleasant impression, evokes bright feelings. This is possible precisely due to the lack of ostentatious luxury. Among the cult sites of the end of the last century is the Monastery of St. Sava the Sanctified.
It was founded in 1995 and became the first monastery of the Melitopol and Zaporozhye dioceses. The monastery is consecrated in the name of the creator of the Jerusalem charter. There are several operating temples on the territory of the complex. This is the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God "Look at humility", which has three thrones, erected in 2005. And also the baptismal Vvedensky temple, consecrated in 2007.The Church of St. Seraphim of Sarov, which belongs to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, is especially popular with parishioners.
It was opened in 2009. The relics of St. Theodosius of Melitopol are kept within its walls. There is a Sunday school for children at the church.In our century, the temple of Saints Cyril and Methodius was opened. Although, in fact, this church has existed here since the 19th century. But in the 20th century, it was closed and lost its roof due to a fire. A new, restored building was opened to parishioners in 2011.
