Ussuriysk is a city in Russia, administrative center of the Ussuri urban district (until March 25, 2005 — district) of Primorye. Located on the Khanka plain in 112 km from Vladivostok on the river Komarovka and Rakovka, in the hollow between the hills. Founded in 1866 as the village of Nikolskoye, since 1898 the city of Nikolsk-Ussuriysk.
