About the history of our city, a lot of cans tell its streets. The first and main street of the village Nikolsky was Large (later named Nicholas). Almost simultaneously with the formed cross streets: Astrakhan (Sibirtseva), Nazarenkova (Lazo) and Korsakov (Timiryazeva), began to be built Michurinskoye (Kalinin). At the beginning of 1880-x years new street: Khabarovsk (Lenin), Senatorska (Chicherin), Tabloid (Ageeva). At the current in Russia, the tradition of the street our Hortensius in honor of the "dear people": large and small officials, the clergy, the rich and powerful people as a local (Kalichevsky, Nazarenkova, Michurinsk)) and regional (Korsakoff, dukhovskoy, Sochi). Of course, there were streets named in honor of kings (Nicholas, Romanov). After the revolution and the civil war, changed the name of the city of Ussuriysk. Some streets were renamed in honor of respected people of the new era: Lenin, Timiryazeva, Blucher, Kalinina, Polushkina, and others. Yes, and the city in 1935 was named Voroshilov (until 1957). The center of Ussuriysk is the area of the intersection of Nekrasov – October – Pushkin, and Lenin.
Street Ageeva, the former Boulevard street, named in honor of the chief of the frontier captain A. D. Ageev, who in January 1936 he distinguished himself in the border battle at the Maritime state border. 30 Jan 1936, two companies of Sino-Manchu violated the Soviet border a mile in the area honeydew Mescheryakovskiy.
