The last part of the article was about the new resort "Belokurikha-2", which was founded just a couple of years ago. In addition to a wonderful ski complex and a biathlon stadium, there is the Andreevskaya Sloboda Museum-Reserve, where traditional West Siberian buildings dating back to the 19th century are collected in the open air.In "Andreevskaya Sloboda" you can see an old peasant hut, a barn, a smithy, a storehouse for bread, as well as a mysterious house of a healer and a distillery. The structures were brought here from various settlements of the Altai Territory, after which they were carefully restored.
Andreev's merchant mansion is the center of the museum's composition. This two-story house was built in 1822 for a successful merchant who sold goods to Mongols and local residents.
Previously, the first floor of the building was occupied by a tavern. Today it houses the authentic restaurant "Gogol", where a unique atmosphere of antiquity reigns and serves dishes mentioned by the classic in his famous works. The guests of the establishment can taste the famous dumplings from "The Night Before Christmas", Chichikov's kulebyaka, as well as special salted lard. Such dishes look doubly unusual for the Siberian land.
There are many interesting art objects in "Belokurikha-2". The most popular of them is the pepelats from the avant-garde motion picture "Kin-dza-dza". It is located next to "Andreevskaya Sloboda" near the Chocolate Museum.
This completes the review of the picturesque resort of Belokurikha. You can get here by bus from the airports of Barnaul or Novosibirsk. The road will take 4-7 hours. Also, a bus travels here from Biysk, which can be reached from Gorno-Altaysk. The approximate travel time is 3 hours.
Moving around Belokurikha itself is possible both by shuttle bus and by taxi. A carriage ride also promises an interesting walk.
