An approximate plan to open countries for tourists in 2020 has become known With the onset of May in all countries of the world began the process of getting out of quarantine (self-isolation) and implementing anti-crisis programs. In Europe, Slovenia, which has already opened its borders, was the first country to report the end of the epidemic. Greece is promised to open (May 25). The article will talk about which other countries have announced the opening of tourist destinations.

While Russia continues to insist on taking precautions, other states are talking about their intention to resume tourism as soon as possible. Thus, many countries have already announced the planned opening of tourist destinations.

1. Slovenia - May 17. Bars and restaurants have already started working here, small hotels (up to 30 rooms) are opening. At the same time as Slovenia, the restrictions of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania were lifted.

2. Peru - May 24. The Republic plans to open the borders, but does not rule out the possible postponement of this event, as Peru has the second largest number of coronavirus infections in South America. As in many other countries, four phases of quarantine are planned. Small hotels and private carriers should soon be earning money.

3. Greece - May 25. The government of this country promises that from the specified date, the hotel business will work here, and people will be able to return to a full life faster. After all, tourism in Greece is one of the main sources of financing. Gradually, tourist attractions are also opening up. And since May 16, 500 local beaches have opened, where you can now relax with respect to the social distance.

4. Austria - May 29. Local hotels will again be allowed to receive guests. Also on June 15, a common border with Germany will be opened here. Restaurants, bars, cafes and places of worship are now returning to work across the country. 

5. Thailand - May 31. This country has come out of quarantine one of the very first in the world. They are working hard here to develop new standards for hotel visitors. Thus, local staff are taught new standards and methods of sanitary treatment of the number stock, and in restaurants installed plexiglass shields. Also in the entertainment sphere are widely used personal protective equipment (masks, costumes).

From June 1, they plan to open their borders Portugal, Mexico, Seychelles. From June 3, Italy is out of bounds, and a day later Saint Lucia and Antigua (Caribbean). Germany and Iceland announced their intention to lift the strict restrictions on 14 and 15 June, respectively. Spain opens at the end of June. And at the end of July - France. The resumption of tourist traffic to Argentina is planned for September and for October to Bali.
