Today, the measures taken against tourists crossing state borders are considered unnecessary. However, Rosportrebnadzor has put forward such requirements to airlines, after which flights even within Russia will become practically inaccessible to our citizens.

According to a recent survey by the International Air Transport Association, 69% of tourists said they would not fly unless mandatory quarantine for all visitors was lifted. Many countries have introduced a mandatory two-week self-isolation regime for all visitors from abroad. However, experts say that there are other ways to protect the population from the spread of coronavirus.
Among the suggestions:
1. Competent departments of the state, where the tourist is sent, must collect all the necessary information about him in advance. About the state of health, vaccinations, the epidemic next to it. This data must be collected from the same sources that are attracted to obtain an electronic visa.
Security measures should be stepped up at airports. In particular, it is planned not to allow escorts (except for persons accompanying disabled and children) to the terminals.
3. Automate all pre-flight procedures (check-in, baggage check, boarding passes) as much as possible.
Passengers must cover their faces for the duration of the flight. It should be forbidden to walk around the cabin. A flight attendant can be called only in an emergency.
5. As soon as they leave the aircraft, passengers must undergo a non-contact body temperature measurement.
6. Instead of baggage-making tapes, a new system will also be developed to eliminate the congestion of people wishing to pick up their suitcases.
7. Before leaving the airport, new arrivals must complete the Declaration of Health.
Among other measures - seating passengers on the plane should be done "in staggered order."
At the same time, experts do not yet have enough information about the possibilities of implementing these measures. For example, when the number of passengers who can be on board at the same time, almost half, is reduced, a significant increase in the prices of flights is predicted. Many have questions about other proposals as well.
