Gai's camera shows the exit from entrance No. 2 of house 117 along Orskaya street.
The lens covers the local area, the front garden and the parking lot. Thanks to good lighting in the dark and real-time broadcasting, everyone can track the current situation.
Guy's webcams, which are convenient to watch online on this site, reveal a panorama of a provincial town in the eastern part of the Orenburg region.
Guy, small in area and population, is of strategic importance in the domestic industrial metallurgy. Here, in the fifties of the XX century, during the development of new oil wells, the richest deposit of copper-pyrite ore was discovered. The Gai deposit contains 76% of all copper in the Orenburg region, for which it was nicknamed the "pearl". Gai ore is special in that it also contains other metals in industrial concentrations - zinc, gold, silver, sulfur and lead. Mining is carried out both by open pit and underground methods using a progressive sparing system and self-propelled equipment. Due to this, the pace and quality of production of the Gaisky Mining and Processing Plant (GOK) allow it to provide more than 60% of the city budget. The city-forming enterprise actively participates in the social life of its native city. At the expense of the plant, festive events are held, New Year gifts for children are purchased, and much more.
If you watch Guy's webcams online, there is an external neatness of the streets and a clear division into districts and quarters.
Such a typical layout is typical for many Russian cities that grew up in the Soviet era. Even urban sculptures here look monumental and austere, without too much romanticism and pretentiousness.
One of the new sights of the city is the Cathedral of St. John of Kronstadt, built in 2007. Its unique architectural design is inspired by the traditions of church architecture of the 20th century. It is noteworthy that all the supporting metal structures and copper for the domes of the temple were made by the Gaisky GOK.
The Miners' Palace of Culture traditionally serves as the center of Gai's cultural life and the venue for festive events. This magnificent three-story building with a durable glass facade adorns the central square of the city and is very popular with the local population. On weekdays, creative studios and amateur groups work here, and on holidays the Palace staff organizes mass celebrations, various competitions and promotions.
If a real trip is not yet foreseen, Guy's webcams, which can be watched online from almost anywhere, invite you to an entertaining virtual tour.
