Guy's webcam with sound broadcasts the local area of the house number 4 on Dekabristov Street.
The overview covers the sidewalk and the car park. As well as the roadway, pedestrian crossing and houses on the opposite side of the street. The broadcast is transmitted in real time.
Guy's webcams, which this site provides an opportunity to watch online, reveal the panorama of a young provincial town in the east of the Orenburg region.
Despite its modest size and relatively short history, Guy is deservedly considered the “pearl of the Southern Urals”. The reason for this honor is in the unique deposits of copper pyrite ores found in this area in the 50s of the last century. The giant of metallurgy, the Gaisky Mining and Processing Plant (GOK), became the city-forming enterprise. Thousands of activists and professionals who came to the young city from all over the country took part in its construction. Many stayed here after the grandiose construction, thanks to which the population of Ai grew rapidly in just a few years.
The central attraction of the city, of course, is the mining and processing complex itself and the huge monument "Glory to Labor", installed opposite the building of the factory administration. The sculpture, more than ten meters high, depicts a group of workers who accidentally stumbled upon an ore vein in another well. In Gai there is also a monument to precious metals, thanks to which the city grew and became famous throughout the Soviet Union.
If you watch Guy's webcams online, you can note a large number of monuments dedicated to the heroes and victims of the Great Patriotic War.
In the park named after the 25th anniversary of the GOK, you can see a monument to the memory of the workers of the plant - veterans of the Second World War. On Lenin Street there is a stele with the sign of the Hero of the War carved in granite and the dedication “To the Survivors and the Victors”.
The unusual military museum, located directly under the open sky, is noteworthy. On stone platforms, real equipment and tools that took part in the battles are installed. This is a T-34 tank, an artillery gun, military trucks.
Relatively recently, an unusual monument called "Defenders of the Fatherland" was erected in one of the squares, dedicated to the participants in local military conflicts in the Chechen Republic. A tower with a cannon from a real BTR-80 rises on a square red brick pedestal. The sculpture is set on a concrete platform, and you can approach it along a special stone path.
If you don’t have a trip to this city yet, Guy’s webcams, which you can watch online from absolutely anywhere, offer to go on a virtual tour.
