Which resorts will open their doors to Russian tourists this summer, and which will extend their self-isolation?

The summer season was at high, and with it went into decline and coronavirus infection. Many residents of Russia during the months of quarantine are very tired and eager to spend a vacation somewhere abroad. Many popular resorts open their doors to Russian tourists, but the situation continues to be tense. Before choosing a place to spend a vacation, it is necessary to know which countries will wait for our fellow citizens this summer, and which will leave their borders closed.

Many tourist destinations, one by one, open access to their borders for foreign visitors. Priority is given to neighbouring countries and those States that have successfully overcome the crisis of the coronavirus pandemic. According to official sources, the incidence in Russia is falling rapidly. Almost all enterprises of tourist orientation, cafes, restaurants, beaches and hotels began their work in the same mode, but in compliance with the recommendations of doctors. But the countries of the European Union refused to include Russia in the list of countries for which the borders with Europe will open from July 1.

As a result, Russians will not be able to travel to the EU on July 1. But Europe is not only a cultural center, but, what is important for the beach season, and the Mediterranean: Spain, Greece, Italy, etc. The reason for this misunderstanding is very banal - Europeans do not have firm confidence in the normalization of the epidemiological situation in Russia.

But the Russians are not the only ones who will not be able to visit Europe yet. Citizens of Brazil and America were also denied entry. In addition to Europe, Turkey, Tunisia and Cyprus are not waiting for our fellow citizens in the near future, which have also extended the terms of the ban on entry to their territory for foreign citizens.

But everything is not as sad as it may seem at first glance. Turkey is gradually beginning to be tourist activity towards Russia. So in mid-July Turkish Airlines has already planned its first flights to Moscow and St. Petersburg. Tunisia has created its own classification of states on the threat level of coronavirus, and Russia is in the most recent group.

The only way out for those who want to spend their holidays not at home - domestic resorts. However, many resorts and hotels across the country, crushed by the regulations of the Russian Consumer Watchdog, were not ready to receive guests in large numbers. Loading objects is only possible at 30-40% of the total capacity. This is due to the high cost of additional equipment, staffing, restructuring and disinfection, which very often just do not pay off. For example, in Crimea, work in full mode started less than half of all hotels. And many tourists are very ambiguous about spending the holidays in a mask and with a lot of restrictions.
