The trail departs from the Khamar-Daban ridge near Slyudyanka and stretches through the forest, parallel to the river bed. The duration of the route is 11 km. At the 8th kilometer there is a tourist base where you can relax. The remaining section is more difficult to pass, with sharp elevation changes.

An unusual location on Lake Baikal is a section of the coast, which is covered with red sand. The Granatovy beach can be found near the town of Baikalsk. Its territory stretches for several kilometers. And the strange red-burgundy shade of the sand is due to the presence in the sandy rock of fragments of a gem of a garnet, which has a healing effect on the organs of the cardiovascular system.
The general accessibility of this place makes it one of the most popular with locals and tourists alike.
