According to it, niches were placed in the openings, in which they placed statues of the Virgin Mary with Jesus, Saint Ignatius and Saint Francis.
The interior is just awesome. It is a Latin cross with three naves and side chapels. Its imposing dimensions and varied decoration, which organically covers the entire surface, make it an object of incredible expressiveness in the Baroque style.

On the ground floor is the Oratorio del Sabato, decorated with valuable stucco from 1740 by Procopio Serpotta. Also on the vault of the building is a fresco representing the coronation of the Virgin. It was made by master Filippo Randazzo.
