This is a radio factory, which is the basis of the industrial potential of the city. It was built back in wartime, and after the Victory it turned into a production association. The company is still active today. Today, household and radio equipment is produced here, as well as electronics repairs are carried out.
The local museum, which was opened in the 80s of the last century in honor of the 35th anniversary of the enterprise, will tell about how the plant developed from the time of its foundation to the present day. The collection was presented at the initiative of one of the first managers of the plant, deputy director Ivan Savinov. The museum's collection includes an extensive collection of documents, photographs, things that tell about the products of different periods and key events in the history of the plant.
The name of the famous theater and film actor Vladlen Biryukov, who became a celebrity after the release of the Eternal Call series, is also associated with Berdsk. In addition to this project, the artist starred in more than 30 works. In Berdsk, he spent his childhood, took his first steps in acting, and ended his career and was buried. Vladlen Egorovich also worked at the plant mentioned above. In honor of the talented actor, who, despite his popularity, did not leave for the capital, but worked on an equal footing with ordinary citizens, in 2016 it was decided to open a museum. The exposition is dedicated to the life and work of the figure.
