The web camera broadcasts Wilhelm online - Eclectic palace complex and zoo-botanical garden in Bad Canshtat, Stuttgart district, Germany. It is perhaps one of the most popular zoological parks and gardens in the country. The palace complex, which has been home to a botanical garden and zoo since the 1960s, was built in 1846 on the orders of King William I, and is made in the neo-Australian style.
During the Second World War, the complex was destroyed, after the end of hostilities completely restored, soon after that here began to place enclosures with exotic pets.
Here, on an area of about 30 hectares, live about 9000 animals brought from different parts of the world. This complex is the second in the country in a variety of species of fauna after the zoo in Berlin. There are also about 5,800 species of plants in Wilhelm' territory, they represent all climatic zones of the globe.
Also on this territory is a unique nursery, where live cubs of apes, its services are used by many zoos in Europe. Tourists can see an aquarium with coral fish and a greenhouse that simulates the tropical climate and landscape of the Amazon jungle.
