Webcam with a view of the real pearl of the Chechen Argun - the Mother's Heart Mosque, which has an original architectural appearance that incorporates the features of high-tech, as well as traditional Muslim temple architecture.
A road junction with an interesting monumental object adjoins the mosque. The broadcast is online.
The Chechen city of Argun, whose webcams can be viewed on this site in real time, was named after the river, which overflowed 150 km in length and has a total basin area of over 3,000 km2.
The reservoir is replenished from melted glaciers and snow lying high in the mountains. A notable feature of the river is its rapid flow, which does not freeze even in the most severe frosts. The reservoir passes through the picturesque Argun Gorge, which is considered the longest in the entire Caucasus. This place has stunning landscapes, with narrow paths, rocks, diverse flora and rare animals, many of which are included in the "Red Book" of the republic. It is these beauties that attract a huge number of travelers, including rafting enthusiasts.
The city of Argun itself is also able to please tourists with interesting and even unique objects and locations.
So, for example, ancient battle towers, which were built at the turn of the 17th-18th centuries, have been preserved in the city. Their height reaches 25 meters. Once they were part of a large complex of defensive structures.
There are also modern buildings in Argun, which by their splendor are not inferior to architectural monuments, and sometimes even surpass them. One of them is the amazing mosque of Aimani Kadyrova, which is also called the "Mother's Heart". The object was built already in our century and after the opening it became the central city mosque. The President of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov attended the groundbreaking ceremony. And about 200 specialists, the most modern technologies and unique materials were involved in the construction of the building.
Despite the high-tech style, in which the architectural appearance of the mosque is sustained, some elements of the construction are traditional for Muslim religious architecture. These include the exquisite ornament of the temple's unique hipped roof and, of course, graceful minarets, whose height reaches 60 meters.
The mosque looks no less delightful in the evening, when its facades are illuminated by the original street lighting.
The interior of the mosque is also striking. A giant chandelier weighing several tons is installed here, and the well-thought-out arrangement of the hall, with a capacity of up to 5,000 people, surprises and delights even more.
If there is no way to go to Chechnya yet, Argun webcams will allow you to slightly open the horizons and see the outstanding sights of this city.
