It presents a huge collection of paintings, drawings, sculptures and arts and crafts by local masters. The institution was formed as a branch of the Tyumen Art Gallery. But over time, independent expositions appeared here on the topic of the culture of the peoples of the North, as well as the feat of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. Of interest is an extensive exhibition of photographs and numismatics. In addition to expositions, the museum hosts master classes, thematic events, and promotions.
