The location has a whole complex of monuments. Among them - a memorial stele to the heroes of the Second World War, samples of military equipment. The territory is decorated with small architectural forms - star-arches, as well as figured flower beds. The broadcast is transmitted in real time.

Novy Urengoy, whose webcams can be viewed online, is a city that will not indulge in an abundance of historical sights and unique locations.

The thing is that it was founded as a working settlement near the discovered large deposits of natural gas. And for a long time it was just a small village where Gasprom workers lived. Nevertheless, the locals are very fond of their city, which is transformed every year and acquires, albeit modern, but interesting places and objects.
On the streets of Novy Urengoy you can find many different monuments. Most of them are dedicated to gas production. For example, a stele near the building of the administration of Gazprom, which has become a kind of symbol of the city. It is represented by a large translucent blue glass sphere crowning a tall column. The sphere is surrounded by a ring with the inscription "Gazprom Dobycha Urengoy 1972". At the top is the Gazprom logo with the same inscription. This monument acquires special splendor in the evening, when special lights light up.
Another monument on the topic of gas production in Novy Urengoy is dedicated to the borehole and people. It is represented by two figures of workers who rise above the design of the exploration well. One worker holds up his right hand, about to give the command to release gas through the pipes. The second is holding on to the valve, waiting for a command. The facility is located a few kilometers from the city. This place is the very place where gas production and the emergence of a new settlement began. It is noteworthy that since its appearance, the monument has never been rebuilt and has survived to this day in its original form.
There are also monuments in Novy Urengoy dedicated to the feat of war heroes. So since 2005, on one of the city squares, the monumental composition "Monument of the Three Wars" has been installed. On a high pedestal, three columns lined with red tiles rise into the sky. Approximately in the middle, these columns are surrounded by bronze banners. The columns symbolize major wars between the USSR and the Russian Federation. This is the Great Patriotic, Afghan and Chechen. At the foot of the stele, the Eternal Flame burns.
