Web camera in real time displays the panorama of Severomorsk in the Murmansk region of Russia. Severomorsk is located on the Kola Peninsula beyond the Arctic circle, on the rocky East coast of Kola Bay of the Barents sea 25 km North-East from Murmansk. The first settlement here was founded in 1896 and was called Vaenga, its inhabitants engaged in fishing, hunting and animal husbandry. In 1917, in the village there were only 13 people. April 18, 1951 the working settlement Vaenga has received the city status and was renamed Severomorsk. The climate is cold and temperate Maritime, mild winters with a temperature of -8°C and summers are cool, with average temperatures around +12°C.
