You can learn about the various milestones of the city chronicle within the walls of the ancient Museum of Antiquities, which was founded back in 1811 and is considered the oldest museum of local lore in the country.
The rich expositions of the Museum include ancient artifacts that tell about the life of the first people who inhabited the territory of the peninsula, as well as items of storage belonging to other eras, up to the middle of the last century.
Within the walls of the museum you can see ancient Greek dishes, medieval collections of the Genoese period, collections of weapons and household items. The exhibition also includes samples of flora and fauna of the Black Sea basin and the Karadag massif.
A separate place in the exposition is reserved for an exhibition dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. It also has its own lapidarium with ancient tombstones, decorative elements of architectural works, graceful sculptures and other artifacts found in the vicinity of Feodosia.

One of the most visited sights of the city is the old Ilyinsky lighthouse
It is located on the cape of the same name and was erected at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries. Initially, a chapel was built on the site of the lighthouse, but for some unknown reason it was removed. Due to the constant storms, fogs and reefs characteristic of the water area near the city, shipwrecks often occurred here. Therefore, it was decided to build a lighthouse on the site of the Ilyinsky chapel. The building was erected with the charitable funds of Evdokia Rukavishnikova, the wife of Pavel Mikhailovich Tretyakov. She stayed in Feodosia with her sick son at the end of the 19th century. The favorable climate helped to improve the boy's health, and the woman decided to donate funds to the city for the construction of a lighthouse, which still functions today.
