The web camera shows the Pirin Mountains at an altitude of 2200 m above sea level. Pirin National Park is a scenic conservation area located in the Pirin Mountains in southwestern Bulgaria. The park is spread over an area of 403.92 km2, and its territory extends to heights from 1008 to 2914 m.
Today, two reserves are included in the protected lands of Pirin Park - Yulen and Bayuvi Dupki-Djinjirica. In these reserves are completely prohibited human activity, so animals and birds feel in absolute safety. Visits to protected areas must be coordinated with the park's management.
Travellers come to Pirin National Park at any time of the year, but most tourists come here from late spring to early autumn, as well as during the ski season. There are a lot of marked routes along the park. It is prohibited to hunt, illegal felling of trees, and some rivers can not fish.
For comfortable accommodation of travelers in the park is open 8 recreation centers, where you can stay for the night, as well as 4 shelters. The park is located in Bansko, at the foot of the Pirin Mountains, on Bulgaria Street, 4. An information centre has been set up here, where children and adults hold educational lectures on the nature of the Balkan mountains.
