If the owner of the car did not go on a trip, then you will need a notarized power of attorney confirming the right to drive this particular car. After completing all the procedures and passing the border, passengers meet with the driver at the parking lot, which is located right after the checkpoint.
Then there is an entrance to the territory of Abkhazia. If the car numbers are Russian or Abkhazian, it will be enough to show the citizen's passport at the window of the next checkpoint (already on Abkhazian territory).
