During the Second World War, repair bureaus were located within its walls. The church was returned to the Orthodox in 1989. Another ancient shrine is the Anthony-Dymsky Holy Trinity Monastery. It is located in the suburbs of Tikhvin and was founded in the 13th century. 200 years after its founding, the monastery was severely destroyed during the battle. According to legend, the monks hid all the shrines in Dymskoye Lake.
In the 17th century the monastery was destroyed by the Swedish conquerors. And after 76 years, the monastery suffered another bad weather - a large-scale fire that destroyed almost everything.
After some time, the shrine was restored. There was a Sunday school here. But after the Revolution, the object was abolished. Restoration of the shrine began already in the 21st century. Today the monastery has been completely restored and is operational.
Another ancient monastery, Vvedensky, was built in the 16th century. It included a temple of the same name, several living quarters, a large cathedral with a bell tower in the name of the holy martyrs Queen Vasilisa and Catherine.
Today they are trying to restore the shrine. But her condition is deplorable. Although parishioners and tourists continue to visit it.
