A monument to MIG-19 was established in memory of the war and postwar aviation history in 1978. In 2002 after the disbandment of the regiment and conservation of the airport, the monument to the MIG – 19 – the purposes of preservation as a symbol of North aviation, was redirected to the city of Polyarnye Zori. In 2004, after reconstruction, about the MIG-19 appeared a plate 28 on which are engraved the names of the pilots – Heroes of the Soviet Union, who fought for the North during the Finnish and the great Patriotic war.
