The authors depicted the already obsolete profession of a horse-racer (a worker who managed horses in a mine), a Soviet miner and a modern representative of this profession. In general, the composition is light-musical. In the evening, the jets are painted in different colors and extract the music.
The monument to Mikhailo Volkov will attract attention. This man was the first to stumble upon coal deposits in Kemerovo.

The Znamensky Cathedral is considered an architectural landmark. Initially, it was small and wooden. It was built in 1947. Already 13 years later it was demolished, and another thirty years later the construction of a new building began. The religious building attracts attention with its appearance - it is a stone building built of red brick, and crowned with golden domes. Currently, there are several buildings on the territory that house a publishing department, a museum and a warehouse store.
Kemerovo historically arose on the site of ancient Russian settlements not far from the Verkhnetomsky prison, which was founded in 1657.
