The Kemerovo webcam shows the Kuznetsky bridge in real time.
The construction connects two districts of the city and passes through the Tom River. Its construction began in 1990. Due to problems in the country's economy, its construction had to be stopped several times. Construction was only completed in 2006.
Kemerovo, whose webcams are available on the site, is considered one of the largest industrial centers in the east of Russia.
Traditionally, it is considered the city of energy, mechanical engineering and chemistry.
One of the interesting sights is the Krasnaya Gorka Museum-Reserve. It is considered one of the few sites dedicated to mining and coal mining. Guests can see a retrospective of industry from the 18th century. until now. Its uniqueness is not only in the theme itself, but also in the fact that among the exhibits there are domestic mining equipment, full-size models, installations and rare photographs.
In general, the name of this museum gave an unofficial name to the whole nearby area. At the same time, it is curious that before the revolution this place was called Burnt Mountain. This happened due to the fact that deposits of coal constantly caught fire on the hills. Later they were called red because of the color of the rock. In addition, in this place there are the remains of the first mine adit in the region, which was founded in 1907.
The appearance of this museum in Kemerovo, whose webcams allow you to see the city streets in real time, is inextricably linked with the development of mining in Kuzbass and Siberia as a whole.
The complex is located on the site of the village, which was built in 1921 by people from different countries. Partially, this settlement captured the territory of the first Kemerovo mines.
The starting point for the creation of the museum itself was the mass strikes of miners. In order to calm and rally people, the authorities decided to create a unifying symbol that would tell about the heroic past. The former settlement was ideal for this. The gradual restoration of structures, the restoration of buildings and the construction of new ones began in 1991.
The authorities allocated an additional 55 hectares of land, and the entire area became a historical reserve. In addition to organizing exhibitions, we decided to equip the embankment of the Tom River for walking. This place has interested many sculptors and architects of the post-Soviet space.
Now Krasnaya Gorka in Kemerovo, whose webcams are available on the site, is considered the most visited attraction in the region.
