Live webcam is located on the territory of the Turtle Bay Beach Club in the town of Watamu (Kenya).
The lens captures a spacious beach with white sand, surrounded by palm groves. And also a cozy lagoon with the turquoise water of the Indian Ocean. In real time, you can watch the weather, vacationers, swimmers and ships that enter the bay.
The real gem of Kenya is the Watamu National Marine Reserve, whose webcams can be viewed on this site.
Primordial nature reigns here with an unimaginable variety of flora and fauna, which travelers from all over the world are eager to see. The ecosystem includes over 100 species of corals, 600 representatives of ichthyofauna. No wonder this place is included in the list of territories protected by the world organization UNESCO.
Watamu Marine Park is a favorite spot for scuba diving.
The white sandy coastline stretches for miles along the turquoise edge of the Indian Ocean and lush exotic vegetation. Warm, crystal clear water beckons to plunge into its coolness on a hot day. And the local underwater world with bright fish, stingrays, squid and giant sea turtles will give an unprecedented pleasure from unity with nature and such a natural element for humans.
The park's activities are aimed at protecting several ecosystems at once, including cliffs, lagoons, reefs, underwater gardens, wild beaches, mangrove forests and swamps. The coral reef, protected by the park, is located only 300 meters from the coastline, therefore it is accessible even for beginners in diving. Safety is also ensured by excellent visibility. Plus, divers don't need to go out to the ocean by boat.
The territory of the park, as already mentioned, is divided into several eco-zones. The coral collection of the Northern Lagoon is home to enormous schools of fish that are stunning in their variety of colors and shapes.
Turtle reefs have a huge variety of different sea creatures.
Here you can see starfish, moray eels, sea urchins, lobsters, and, of course, giant turtles, which are under the special protection of the state.
In the Mangrove forests, you can observe countless varieties of birds, listening to their singing and enjoying the silence. And mangrove swamps are a place where a wide variety of fish spawn, all kinds of algae grow.
Through the park, you can book a boat trip with a glass bottom, canoeing, walking tours. Diving clubs also work here.
If you are only planning to go to Kenya, the Watamu webcams will allow you to get to know this place even before the main trip.
