Warnemunde is a small resort in the suburb of Rostock on the Baltic Sea. Once a fishing village, known since the 12th century, today Warnemunde has become one of the most popular Baltic resorts in Germany. A beautiful long beach and good transport accessibility, as well as a comfortable climate of a cozy town contribute to a good holiday.
Since Varnemunde is a suburb of Rostock, the easiest way to get to the resort is from there. From Rostock Station (Route 1 or No. 2) the S-Bahn train runs to the cul-de-sac of Warnemunde station, on the way 20 minutes. This is the most convenient and fastest way to get to the resort. You can buy a ticket for the train at the ticket office or at the vending machines located at the station. Before boarding the train, you must composte the ticket on the platform, fines for the unscored ticket of EUR 60.
