Prague, whose webcams can be viewed online on this site, is an amazing corner of Central Europe that will delight the traveler with an amazing atmosphere, magnificent architecture, unique historical, cultural and natural attractions, and, of course, delicious Czech beer.
A walk around this city, in particular, its historical center, will give you indelible impressions and a lot of amazing photos. Ancient castles, palaces and temples, colorful cafes and unique galleries - all this will become an exclusive backdrop for memorable and artistic photos.
One of the most recognizable objects in Prague is the Old Town Hall.
It was built in the first half of the 14th century and includes a whole string of medieval houses and structures, with a compositional center - a Gothic tower, on top of which an exquisite astronomical clock flaunts. From the tower clock, where an observation deck is equipped, a stunning panorama of the old city opens. You can get there by a delightfully decorated spiral staircase. If it is difficult to climb the numerous steps, you can use the elevator. Various exhibitions and theme evenings are held in the town hall building today.
The Tyn Church has an unusual architectural appearance.
Its towers with high Gothic spiers rise above the Old Town, being its main geographical landmark. The composition of the cathedral resembles a fairy-tale castle. It is crowned with a gilded image of the Virgin Mary, which was cast in the 4th century.
It is also recommended to visit the Prague Loreta architectural complex, created in the Baroque style in the 17th century. As conceived by the architects, the object was to be an exact copy of the Holy Hut, which, according to legend, was transferred from Nazareth to the Italian town of Loreto.
Another unique attraction of the Old Town is the Monastery of St. Anezka Czech. This convent is the oldest example of Gothic architecture in the Czech capital. On the ground floor of the building there is a collection of art works of the Middle Ages and the Early Renaissance, which were brought here from different parts of Bohemia and Central Europe. Here you can also see Gothic paintings and sculptures on religious themes.
If it is not yet possible to go to the Czech Republic, Prague webcams will allow you to make a fascinating journey through its picturesque streets.
