The webcam lens captures Nakhodkinsky Prospekt (Nakhodka, Russia) with buildings adjoining it.
In this area of the city there is a port, the Naval College, several shops, public transport stops, bank branches, residential buildings. The broadcast is transmitted in real time.
The main artery of Nakhodka, whose webcams can be viewed online on this site, is called Nakhodkinsky Prospekt.
It stretches for 11 km along the sea coast and covers almost the entire city. It is here that the majority of cultural, entertainment, administrative facilities, as well as educational institutions of varying degrees of accreditation are concentrated.
One of the features of Nakhodkinsky Prospekt is the presence of the highest points above sea level, on which observation platforms are equipped, opening amazing panoramas of Nakhodka itself, as well as limitless seascapes. At the same time, the beauty of these places fascinates at any time of the day.
Another interesting location of Nakhodka is Lisiy Island, which has high rocky shores and has recently been uninhabited.
A few decades ago, a Gulag labor camp was based here, where female prisoners served their sentences. They worked at a local fish enterprise, after the closure of which the island was given the status of a reserve and free access for tourists was closed there.
However, the island can be reached as part of an organized tour, during which you will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the huge variety of local flora and fauna. Among the unique inhabitants of this area are relic Mongolian oaks and grapes. It is noteworthy that foxes have never lived here. Therefore, to this day it is not known for certain why the island was given such a name.
An unusual place for a Russian city is the Japanese Rock Garden.
It was built as a sign of friendship between the sister cities of Nakhodka and Tsurugi back in 1983, and became one of the main decorations of Nakhodka Avenue. The object is represented by a small square with a rope fence, which is decorated with a stone river, small architectural forms, and, of course, huge boulders set in a certain rhythm. All this is framed by tall trees, giving this place an atmosphere of solitude and peace.
Another similar object - the stone of friendship between Nakhodka and Maizuru was installed 5 years before the appearance of the rock garden at the initiative of the mayor of the Japanese city. The object is a large block carved with Japanese and Russian inscriptions. A stylized imitation of the Sea of Japan was created against the background of the composition.
