The web camera broadcasts the port of L'Il-Rus in real time. The ferry port of Ile-Rus is located in the northwest of Corsica, and was founded in 1758. You can get on ferries from Corsica, which follow the route from the port of Ile-Rus to the port of Nice, or to the port of Toulon in the south of France.
Port L'Il-Rus is completely different from a Corsican city. Palm trees, chic shops, beautiful flower beds and huge pink hotels on the waterfront are more associated with the French Riviera than with Corsica. Initially, the port was built for the export of olive oil and wine, and thanks to this is actively thriving today. Officially, L'Il-Rus is the hottest point of the island, so in July and August the city is filled with fans of the sun.
All roads in L'Il Ruse lead to the shady square square of Paoli, open towards the sea. Its focus is the fountain, topped with a bust of "Father of the Father of the Father" - one of the many local signs of respect for Pascal Paoli, the man who built the port. At the entrance to the square there is an indoor market in the French style, where on Saturday mornings sell artisanal products and antiques, and on the west side stands the gloomy facade of the church of the Immaculate Conception.
Just before the promenade in L'Il Ruse is a crowded city beach in the style of the Cote d'Azur, with rows of sunbeds and umbrellas, a variety of cafes and restaurants. By car you can go to the most beautiful beaches of the north coast, Botri beach with clear sand and clear water, or the large picturesque beach of Bei de Junketu.
