The city dunaivtsi – regional centre in the South of Khmelnitsky region. It is 68 kilometers from the regional center on the road Khmelnytskyi — Kamyanets-Podilskyi. Through the city flows the river Ternava, and in the village there are several ponds. Dunaivtsi is a regional industrial centre with a predominantly agricultural enterprises.
In dunaivtsi there are several monuments of architecture of local value. These include the former estate of landowner Zavoyko (late 19th century), the main building which serves as a hospital building. The Park surrounding the hospital, was created when landowner. Preserved building of the cloth factory (late 19th century), several churches. Among them is the main Church of the Capuchin monastery (18th century) – now the parish Church.
