The centre of Novigrad

The parish Church of SV. Pelagia and the SV. Maxim was built in the years of the creation of the Novigrad diocese. About this parish Church is a bell tower with a crowning pyramid, on top of which, in 1913, was erected a wooden statue of the patron Saint of the town – SV. Pelagia. At the old city cemetery is the Church of SV. Agata, built in the Romanesque style, with the interior complemented by Baroque statues and pictorial images of SV. Agatha. Among other architectural monuments of Novigrad, today you can see the defensive walls built round the city in the THIRTEENTH century.
