The cityUfa,Russiabesides its importance in the history of Russia, is also the heart of Russian sport. The development of sports in the city paid much attention. In September 2010, Palace of sports officially announced arena of the club Agidel participating in the Championships of the Russian Federation on hockey among women's League. The largest indoor sports facility in the Bashkortostan Republic until 2007 was the Palace Ufa-arena, the main sports facility in the Republic with artificial ice. The very first hockey match in sports Palace took place in 1967. The total capacity of the rostrum to the time of the opening of the Palace was 3 949 people. In 1993 the main building was added for additional sport field with artificial ice and stands for Poltar. In 2012 in preparation for the World Cup 2013 among young people, held a General reconstruction of the Palace.
