Ustka, Poland situated along the coast, at the mouth of the river Słupi which flows into the Baltic sea. It is a port and resort city. As at 31 December 2012, the city has 16 379 inhabitants. From 13 July 2003 Ustka and Slupsk United by agreement called Dwumiastem. These two cities are connected by rail and bus transport. Near Ustka is located in Lędowie naval training center, which is the main training center of the Navy. In the postwar period, 1950-1975 years, the city was part of the Koszalin Voivodeship in 1975-1998 in the province of Slupsk. The city is located on the northwestern tip of the province of Pomerania, in the district of Slupsk. The city has a total area of 10.19 km2, of which 46% is covered by forests, and 11% is Agricultural land. The first settlers arrived at Ustka in the 9th century and established a fishing village,called in the original language Ujść. The settlement at the mouth of the river Słupia was transferred to the city of Slupsk in 1337 with the purpose of building a fishing harbour and commercial port on the Baltic sea. According to the documents, in 1355 a Church was built . In 1382 g Slupsk became a member of the Hanseatic League. The city came into the possession of Brandenburg - Prussia, part of the Duchy of Pomerania after the Treaty of Westphalia in 1648.
