The Orsk webcam is installed on house number 4 B along Kramatorska Street.
The lens captures the sidewalk near the house, as well as the roadbed with tram rails and the intersection with Julius Fucik Street. In this area of the city there are apartment buildings, a large green area around the Elshanka River, shops, cafes, pharmacies and public transport stops. The broadcast is online.
The long history of Orsk, whose webcams are available online on this site, has contributed to the fact that the city has preserved many attractions, including architectural monuments.
These include, for example, the building of the College of Music, which was built in the 19th century. Initially, it was erected for the needs of the men's gymnasium. And with the advent of the Soviets, for some time they were used for economic purposes. In the late 60s, it housed a professional Musical College, which later acquired the status of a College. Nowadays, the building is included in the list of historical values of the city.
St. Nicholas Church also has an interesting history. It was built in the 18th century on the site of a dilapidated wooden church. Later, due to a fire that almost leveled the shrine to the ground, it was decided to rebuild the temple from stone. During the Soviet period, it was again dismantled. And the restoration took up only at the end of the last century. Today, the completely restored church resembles an ancient fortress and attracts many pilgrims.
Not far from the St. Nicholas Church is another cult object with a long history. This is the Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior, which was also built of stone in the 19th century on the site of a dilapidated wooden building that had stood on this site since the 16th century. Today, the temple has a solemn appearance and is a real decoration of Orsk.
A large number of pilgrims are also attracted by the Intercession Convent, which, despite the hard lot that fell on it during the years of Soviet persecution of faith, survived and continues to delight everyone with its greatness.
The main temple is crowned with a massive dome with a dark covering. And next to it is an elegant belfry. There is a landscaped park around the shrine. Therefore, it will be pleasant to walk here even for those people who are far from religions.
The house of the merchant Nazarov also belongs to important historical buildings. It is located in the historical part of the city and was built for a local merchant and a member of the city council. The two-story building has an elegant decor, typical of the architecture of the middle of the XJX century. And this object is also notable for the fact that in July 1891, the heir to the throne, Nikolai Romanov, stayed here.
If, for now, visiting these places is not included in the plans, Orsk webcams, which can be watched online in real time, will allow you to have a pleasant walk along the cozy streets of the old town.
