And not so much the enterprise itself, but the surrounding landscapes of the Kola Bay and, of course, the Lenin nuclear icebreaker moored on the eternal pier. Today, a museum has been organized in this giant, which will reveal amazing facts from the history of the legendary icebreaker, as well as the development of the North Sea.
Having been on an excursion, you can also go into the building of the Seaport itself, which is located nearby. It has an interesting cafe where you can try only two dishes - sea urchin and scallops. Moreover, they are cut right in front of visitors and served raw.

Nearby is the Museum of the Commercial Port, where you can learn about the various milestones in the development of the enterprise itself, as well as the city of Murmansk, which appeared here as a result of the construction of the port.

Near the seaport there are several beautiful and well-groomed squares with monuments. Among them is a monument to the port workers who died during the bombing, as well as to Valerian Lyakhnitsky, who convinced him to build a port here.
Locals also recommend visiting the local fish shop near the port. Here you can buy culinary souvenirs. The prices are acceptable.
Then you can take a walk to the railway station (for those who arrived in Murmansk by water or air). Across the road from this colorful hall there is also a square where you can see the monument to the Victims of the Intervention.

In the same part of the city is the main square of Murmansk, it is called Five Corners.

The most important events of the city are held here, it is constantly crowded and fun. On the eve of the New Year, a New Year tree and light sculptures are erected in the center of the square. This place is one of the favorite places to visit among visitors and residents of the city.
Near the square is the tallest building in Murmansk - the Arktika Hotel. It was here that Adolf Hitler planned to celebrate the new year of 1942. But, fortunately, his plans were not destined to come true.
Today, the hotel houses rooms, as well as a unique panoramic restaurant, from the windows of which breathtaking panoramas open up.
