Dolgoprudnyis the city of regional subordination, which is located in Moscow region. The name of the city received from W/e platform "Dolgoprudnaya", which, in turn, bore the name of Pushkin's estate, which is located nearby. The first archaeological finds discovered in the city date back to the XII century. But the first written mentions of settlements on these lands belong to the XVI century. The Dolgoprudny appeared as a work settlement around disablethrottle shipyard based near the station in the middle of the twentieth century. And so, the bulk of the attractions of the city dates back to the Soviet era. For example, to survived the building of the Central aerological Observatory – remaining after the closure of the enterprise for the construction of airships. The most famous attraction of the city is the Pushkin manor Vinogradovo, which was owned by various nobles, and after the revolution – was a farm. The estate is located old Park, itself the manor house and the Church, designed in the style of classicism. It is worth noting that the Institute, despite the atheistic ideology of the Soviet period, to have survived a large number of temples. This is the Church of Vladimir mother of God, which was built in the XVIII century and is in close proximity to the manor Vinogradovo. Very attractive are also the temple of the Kazan icon of the Mother of God, ancient stone of the Transfiguration, the Savior, temples and wooden Church of St. George. A popular place to visit-the Institute is also a monument of Russian architecture of the Manor Mysova, or "house with the tower", where today is located the dispensary. Another attraction of the city, which is considered a kind of calling card of the city, is the Moscow Institute of physics and technology. The pearl of Dolgoprudny is a huge picturesque Park in the coastal zone of the Gulf of Klyazma. People come here to relax even the capital's residents. There is the Institute and several museums, such as Museum of local Lore, history and art museums and the city theater. It should also be noted monuments of the city. It is a unique monument for the worker-the Builder, a plaque in honor of pilot and cosmonaut V. patsaeva, and monument to the famous Soviet scientist K. E. Tsiolkovsky.
