The City Of Aktobe,Kazakhstan– the old name of the city of Aktyubinsk. The city is located in Kazakhstan along the Ilek river and tributary to the Ural river and is the administrative town in Aktobe region. The city was founded in 1869, the fortress, which was intended to protect the Orenburg lands from the raids of the small Horde. The city's population stands at 500 thousand.
