In Egypt, more expensive entrance to museums
On the first of November the authorities of the two tourist spots of the country plans to lift prices on Museum tickets. The price hike can be expected at Cairo and Luxor, and the statement has already been published by the relevant ministries. According to their representatives, will rise in price as standard tickets and entrance cards luxury segment.
In the following season, tourists will have to spend a hundred dollars on visits to museums in these cities, which is twenty more than last year. Students same as before, can pay only half that amount. The Deluxe tickets will cost twice as much – two hundred dollars, however, according to him, you will still have access to the tombs of the pharaohs and Queen Nefertari.
The authorities claim that the prices were increased not for the purpose of more profits – according to them, the money will go to further attract tourists, which is experiencing a significant downturn. The country wants to ensure and prove the full security of visiting for everyone, who wants to stay in Egypt. That is why they need extra money.
