Webcam Novorossiysk in real time broadcasts a view of the intersection of st. Ledneva and st. Peace.
Online you can see what is happening on the roads and weather conditions. In addition, a small piece of the sea gets into the camera lens.
Novorossiysk, whose webcams are available on the site, is the largest port in southern Russia.
Many believe that in its pure form it cannot be called a resort town, because. there are not many beaches and typical entertainment. But you can also find something to your liking here, because the city has many natural and architectural attractions.
One of these is the Tsemess Bay. This is not just a famous place in the city, but also an important economic component. This is where commercial and cruise ships arrive. From the embankment, which stretches along the bay, offers a bewitching view of the sea and ships.
The bay got its name because of the river Tsemes. This place became part of the Russian Empire in 1829 when the Turkish troops were defeated in one of the battles. Since the location was quite successful, the port of Novorossiysk became the main one in maritime trade.
Live webcams allow you to enjoy the picturesque views.
The coastline of the Tsemess Bay stretches for 15 km. At the same time, almost more than half is occupied by port facilities. Despite this, there are many good beaches for any tourist. For example, those who love infrastructurally developed areas can stay in the center or near the nearest villages of Aleksino and Myskhako. If you want to be in silence and alone, then there are also wild beaches.
The water in the bay in summer can warm up from +22.2°C to +26.4°C, and in winter the temperature rises to +12°C. The average depth is 24 m, and the maximum depth is 27 m. This allows large vessels to enter the port. Given the 15-kilometer length of the coast, the entrance to the bay is very wide. Also, from the west, the Tsemess Bay is closed by the Abraussky Peninsula, and from the east, by the Markothsky Range.
At the same time, the place has some drawbacks, due to which ships often crash. So, in winter and autumn, the north wind rages here, reaching 60 m / s. The air masses are so powerful that they rip ships off their anchors. Because of this, the ships collide with stones and go to the bottom. In addition, reefs are located along the coastline, which also creates difficulties.
The most famous shipwreck occurred in 1986. The passenger liner "Admiral Nakhimov" collided with the cargo ship "Pyotr Vasev". The causes of the tragedy are the untimely reaction of the crew and the equipment, which did not record the change in the course of the liner. Then 423 people died.
Novorossiysk is definitely worth adding to the list of places to visit, real-time webcams will allow you to enjoy the atmosphere of the city and its landscapes.
