Costa Adeje, together with Playa de las Americas, are considered the main resorts of the island of Tenerife, which belongs to the Canary archipelago. But it was the first one that won the hearts of tourists as the best place for a family vacation. Both resorts flow smoothly into each other. Costa Adeje is located just to the west, forming, together with Las Americas, a long beach line, reaching over 6 km. A small river passes between the resorts, forming a natural border. Starting from here and continuing to the west, the situation becomes quieter, the abundance of entertainment establishments is dwindling.
Costa Adeje passes through the port of Colon and several splendid beaches - Fañabe, Playa del Duque and La Caleta. There is a calm atmosphere here. And the well-established tourist infrastructure is conducive to a pleasant, comfortable and safe rest. In the evening, the streets of Costa Adeje are noticeably empty, which cannot be said about Las Americas, where life only begins at sunset.
The most expensive part of the resort is Playa del Duc, which is located at its western end. The most luxurious and expensive hotels and apartments are located here. Over the past few years, the infrastructure has significantly developed here, streets with luxurious shopping centers, boutiques and restaurants have been improved. This place takes on a special splendor in the light of the evening illumination. At the same time, the walk will be accompanied by pleasant music, and not by screams coming from nightclubs.
In the east of the resort, near Veronikas Street bordering Las Americas, on the contrary, there is a large number of nightlife venues. There are also hotels with more acceptable price tags.
Between the eastern and western parts of Costa Adeje, the Playa Fañabe area is located, which is distinguished by a pleasant ratio of price and service. Despite the lower cost of recreation, compared to Playa del Duc, the resort infrastructure on Fanabe is thought out to the smallest detail. There is where to relax and have fun, and the clean beach will delight both adults and children with comfort. A series of retail outlets and catering establishments stretch along the coast. The hotels here are in the middle category.
From the east, Fanabe is adjacent to the port of Colon. Here you can hire a pleasure boat, have a tasty snack and relax at late hours of the day. One of the popular clubs is El Faro. Not far from here is the only casino in the southern part of Tenerife.
