The Trinity Church was the main religious place for the military; both rulers and ordinary soldiers came to pray there. In post-revolutionary times, local clergy were subjected to repression. In 1944, during the liberation of the Leningrad region, the temple was partially destroyed. After restoration, it was transferred to the local House of Culture. In 1994 the temple was completely restored.
The most recognizable place and symbol of Krasnoye Selo is the Victory Arch. The majestic building, located on the outskirts of the city, at the entrance to St. Petersburg, was built relatively recently - in 2015. The construction was timed to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory. The arch has become a truly popular project: it was built solely on donations, the total amount of which was about 100 million rubles. A time capsule has been laid at its base, which calls for future generations to remember their history and the exploits of their ancestors.
