Severodonetsk,Ukraineone of the cities and large industrial centres in Luhansk oblast. The history of the city and its development is closely linked with the founding in 1934 of the chemical plant. This company was a Foundation in urban planning of the city of Severodonetsk. As a village which had the name of Logistai, received city status in 1958, and its present name was adopted in 1950. With the rapid growth of the city and its population, in Severodonetsk starts to open several more businesses that have determined the future of Severodonetsk city. Today the city is home to over one hundred and forty thousand people, most of them are engaged in industrial enterprises. The Cathedral square, which is located in the city of Severodonetsk, decorated architectural masterpiece of the Holy Christo-Christmas Cathedral which contains thirteen Church domes. The Cathedral situated in the square, was built in stages and for the donations of parishioners. In June 1994, was laid the first slab of the Foundation. By the year 2000 we can say that the construction of the temple was completed, and begin the first worship in the temple. The temple of the Holy Christ Nativity is the Saami largest temple in the city of Severodonetsk, so initially, its construction was undertaken in the designated area.
