Almost all the cities of Abkhazia were rebuilt in the best traditions of European urban planning, from planning to architecture. Many buildings were built in the Art Nouveau style, which can be seen in the decorative elements and building materials used. The entire structure was built of brick, stone, iron, and the roof was covered with tiles.
In addition to the development of agriculture and trade, the capital of Abkhazia began the development of tourism and climate treatment. Actively began to build hospitals and sanatoriums.
