Online webcam overlooking the Ovcha Kupel quarter and Mount Vitosha. Vitosha is the only mountain of volcanic origin in Bulgaria. To the highest point of Vitosha "Cherny Vhrh" (2290 m) you can get from Simeonovo or Dragalevtsev, where the initial stations of lifts are located, and if you like to walk, you can choose from a variety of hiking trails that will guide you to the protected areas.
There are a lot of tourist routes: the ascent to the tops of the mountain "Jastlivets" or "Goldy Bridge"; walks along stone rivers; the trip to the cave "Duzlat" - the largest cave in Bulgaria, the length of which is 17 km, and the depth with a six-story house, with many underground rivers, sculptures of stalactites and stalagmites.
Conditions for mountaineering, rock climbing, sports aviation make Vitosha a universal holiday destination for residents and guests of Sofia.
The northern part of Vitosha is an expanse for skiers and snowboarders. Equipped ski slopes, two ski centers with all the necessary equipment for outdoor activities. Among the most famous routes are "Staneta", Blue Track, Green Track, Vitoshko Lale, "Vetroval" and "Konyarnik."
Many small streams and rivers create the water wealth of the mountain, and the most significant of the rivers, Struma, begins its rapid movement on the southwestern slopes of Vitosha, a little soothes its current on the plains of Greece and flows into the Gulf of Aegean Sea.

The territory of the Natural Park is divided into two reserves - "Torfaen scolding" and "Bistricho scolding." 10 species of amphibians, 600 species of invertebrates, 12 species of reptiles, 150 species of birds and 50 different species of mammals - all in close proximity to the noisy and large city. The plant world of Vitosha Park is no less diverse - about 1500 species of higher plants, which is about 50% of all described in Bulgaria, and 52 of them are listed in the Red Book of Bulgaria.
Not only the protected nature, but also cultural and historical monuments attract a lot of tourists and lovers of antiquity. At the foot of Vitosha stands the 10th century Boyan Church with amazing frescoes. Since 1979 it has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Dragalevsky Monastery, the construction of which is attributed to the 14th century, is also among the historical attractions.
