The lens captures the road, various shop signs, as well as the facades of the capital's houses.

There is one special attraction in Sarajevo, whose webcams are available on the site in real time - the cable car.

It allows you to view the city from a bird's eye view. The cable car to Trebeviča Mountain was opened on May 3, 1959. It connected the Bistrik area with the observation deck at the top.
The departure station was located on the modern street Avdazh Sahinagich (at that time Dimitri Tukovic) opposite the City Hall of Sarajevo at an altitude of 583 meters. The observation deck itself is located at an altitude of 1160 m. The height difference was more than 500 meters, and the distance between the stations was 2070 meters. Then the cable car had 50 cabins with a capacity of 4 passengers. The trip took 12 minutes, and in one hour it was possible to transport 800 passengers in both directions.

The construction of the cable car in Sarajevo, whose webcams allow you to see the sights of the city, took about a year, although preparations began as early as 1956.

Initially, waiting rooms with buffets were built at the departure and arrival station, and a restaurant of the same name was later built on the observation deck. The Trebevich cable car was one of the most significant in the former Yugoslavia and one of the few that left from the very center of the city and in 12 minutes transferred to untouched nature. During the siege of the city during the Bosnian War, the cable car, along with the departure and arrival stations, was completely destroyed.
The cable car resumed its work in 2018. Its reconstruction took place from 2017 to 2018 and officially opened on April 6, 2018. A total of 33 modern cable cars make up the new system, which can transport up to 1,200 passengers from the old town to Trebevič per hour. The duration of the trip is now nine minutes each way.

If you touch separately on the Old Town of Sarajevo, whose webcams allow you to enjoy picturesque views, then the history of the village begins from here.

Here in the 15th century an Ottoman general founded the city. This part is characterized by numerous religious buildings and examples of unique Bosnian architecture. The eastern half consists of sectors that were influenced by the Ottoman Empire, while the western half showcases the architecture and culture of Austria-Hungary. There are many hotels and tourist attractions in the Old City, including the Gazi Khusrev Beg Mosque, the Imperial Mosque, Sarajevo Cathedral, etc.
