The web camera broadcasts the Pitsunda embankment in real time. Beautiful sea views, flower beds, city and wild beaches, numerous attractions make the embankment a favorite holiday destination for tourists and locals.
The green boulevard along the sea, which holidaymakers walk along, is an indispensable attribute of all resort towns in the world. In this row, the waterfront of Pitsunda takes its rightful place. It stretches for 5 km just behind the beautiful pebble beach. In the shade of palm leaves covered garden benches and secluded gazebos, and the air is full of aromas of the sea and famous relic pines.
In the center of the embankment there is a sculpture "Divers for pearls." A young man and a girl surrounded by dolphins and fish seemed to hang in the water, holding out their hands in the sink from which the fountain beats. Contrary to everyone's delusion, the author of the composition is not zurab Tsereteli, but another Georgian sculptor - Irakli Ochiauri.
Half a century ago, seven boarding houses were built behind the Pitsunda waterfront. Their white 14-storey buildings are now slightly dilapidated, but are still popular. In the evenings, holidaymakers fill the central alley with laughter and hometon. Dozens of street cafes and ice cream kiosks are opening. The breeze blows, and the most romantic atmosphere reigns around.
People walk in the twilight, enjoying the sea panoramas and listening to the performances of local and visiting artists. Dates are appointed near "Divers" or "Pitsunda Medea," another sculpture on the farthest edge of the embankment. Children ride rides, the audience is in a hurry to the 5D cinema, where the effect of presence is created not only by stereo glasses, but also by gusts of wind, splashes of water and shaking chairs.
