Khabarovsk,Russiathe city is located in the East of Russia, on the banks of the Amur river. The approximate distance of the city to the capital is 6100 kilometers. Its population amounted to six hundred thousand people. The city got its name from Yerofei Khabarov, who swam across the river Amur. The city also has a cultural centre in the Khabarovsk territory. The city has several museums of local history, historical and archaeological Museum. In the city there are many hotels and small hotels where you can stay in the tourist trip. Until the mid-nineteenth century, the territory on which the city was considered to be not specific. By agreement between the Russian Empire and the Qing Empire, began negotiating its membership, the entire left Bank of the Amur river, came to Russia, and the right went to China. In 1858 the Cossack regiments were planted on the Bank and founded a settlement, which was named khabarovka. In the same year, begins to form a plan for construction of the main buildings. In 1893, the town gets another name – Khabarovsk. In 1897 the city had grown to almost fifteen thousand inhabitants, was later held iron Drogo connecting Khabarovsk and Vladivostok. Today the city is the administrative center of the eponymous district.
