A must-see is the Khunaram Buddhist Temple. Here are kept the mummified remains of the great monk Luang Pho Daeng, who foresaw his death and today sits in a meditative position in one of the halls.
Another interesting temple, Phu Khao Thong, is located in a secluded area, surrounded by exotic thickets. A magnificent staircase with a railing in the shape of stylized dragons leads to the golden pavilions of the temple. And in the colorful main hall, decorated in red, gold and green tones, there are statues of the dark Buddha.
