An online webcam overlooking Krakow Suburb street in Lublin, Poland. Lublin's most famous street, the Krakow suburb, is 11 km long. This is a favorite resting place of citizens and guests of Lublin.

There are shops of the world's most famous brands, cozy cafes and restaurants, luxury hotels, nightclubs, financial institutions, city services. The Krakow suburb is a street that characterizes the whole city, its symbol and the main transport artery. Interestingly, it was built on the site of an ancient road, the so-called tract connecting Lublin with Krakow. This street begins at the famous Krakow Gate, built in the 14th century and was part of the fortified wall that surrounded the city. Passing through these gates, you can find yourself in the Old Town. If you walk along the Krakow suburb in the opposite direction from the Old City, you can go to the Saxon Garden - a large city park, sometimes called "light Lublin."

Houses built on the Krakow suburb look representative and solid. All of them were built in the 18th century, when local traders and burghers noticed the road leading out of the city. Already in the 17th century it was clear that the city would grow, which means that because of its favorable location, the Krakow suburb will first be built up. So the most respected people of the city settled here. For example, the mansion number 6 belonged to the merchant Jan Mintzl, and house number 7 - the owner of the bookstore Stanislav Artz. Building 27 housed the most famous cafe, where the most delicious cakes in the city were served. It belonged to Swede Samadeni. This confectionery, which is more than 160 years old, still works today.

On the Krakow suburb there is also a small fountain over which the bronze goat, which is the emblem of the city, leaned.
