Tver,Russia,the city is located on the Volga river, the European part of Russia. Previously, the city was called Kalin until 1990. Soviet square, located in the Central area of the city of Tver, is one of the main squares in the city. Previously the area was called Semicircular, and later the Postal area. Completing the square street of the Soviet and Volodarsky's street, Novotorzhskaya, thus forming three radial system of streets. This system was designed by Nikitin – architect by education in 1763 after the great fire took most of the city. Such a composition according to the architect creates perfection and harmony not directly in the city centre. The square is also located and other architectural objects, the projectors of which were the famous architects of the 18th century. In the rich ideas inherent in the construction of Rome, Saint-Petersburg, the architects found a lot for sale and combinations in its works that can be seen on the square. However, a full picture of the incarnation which now adorns the city could be seen only from the early sixties. From this moment begins the construction of stone buildings. Not long ago was a monument to Mikhail Yaroslavich Prince of Tver who ruled during the Tver Principality.
